Coronation Street’s Alexandra Mardell “crying ugly” after filming the last scenes on ITV.

Alexandra – who plays Emma Brooker – will soon be leaving the show after four years in her role, and she admits to being emotional filming her final scenes on the show.

Taking to social media, Alexandra confirmed she had filmed her final scenes as Emma as she thanked the cast and crew for making her time on the show “the best time of her life”. Miss”.

Thanking viewers of the show, her family members and friends, she posted a snap of Corrie’s infamous sign.

She wrote on Instagram : “And it was the best street twist there was! And of course, I was ugly I cried as soon as the scene was done. Overwhelmed with all the love. The Corrie family is insane. .

“To everyone in that building, everyone watching, family members and friends, I love you all and can’t thank you enough! I’ve said it countless times before but I’ll say it again. , it was the best time of my life.”

She added: “But for now it’s goodbye to the pebbles from me and Emma Brooker.”

Her Corrie co-stars commented to leave sweet messages for the actress amid her impending departure.

“We’ll miss you when we load Ali! You’re little star xx,” wrote Samia Longchambon – who plays Maria – while Andy Whyment, who plays Kirk, added: “Will miss you Ali but luckily, I’m sure you’ll smash it xx.”

Sally Ann Matthews, who plays Jenny Connor, wrote: “Love this and you but don’t see why you don’t post my pictures”, while Sam Retford, who plays Miss Curtis’ ex, shared: “It’s been a pleasure to have shared a bit of your journey, nice to see what’s next.”

Kate Ford (Tracy Barlow), Elle Mulvaney (Amy Barlow) and Georgia Taylor (Toyah Battersby) all left hearts on her posts, while Ruxandra Porojnicu – who plays Tyrone Dobbs’ Alina Pop in ITV soap – also send her best wishes.

“Welcome to the kiaeeeee!! Haha You’ll be the Magnificent, and I can’t wait to meet you!” she shared.

Alexandra has previously described playing Emma as “the best experience of her life”.
