Corrie’s killer Gary plans a life-changing confession in the fallout for Laura to twist

Coronation Street’s Gary Windass will be torn on the ITV soap, after Laura Neelan pleads guilty to her crimes in recent scenes

Corrie’s killer Gary Windass may finally reveal all about his crimes on ITV next week, it has been revealed.

His partner, Maria Connor, is left trying to stop him from making a big mistake, as guilt becomes too much for him after a turning point.

Fans and a handful of residents know that Gary killed villain Rick Neelan in 2019 and buried his body in the woods – before having to move the corpse to a new location more than a year later.

Now, the body will be discovered due to construction works happening at the site.

But a twist Friday night saw Laura Neelan, Rick’s ex, appear to claim responsibility for the crime – with Gary seemingly getting away with it all once again.

However, this could change next week, when Gary becomes guilty about his crimes and what Laura did, while her daughter Kelly grapples with the news.

Knowing Laura had only a short time left, after learning that she was terminally ill, Gary was determined to correct the mistake and tell the truth.

By doing so, Gary will be sent to prison and forced to leave his family behind.

Maria will beg Gary to reconsider because she doesn’t want to lose him, and also tells him that it will ruin Kelly’s life.

Kelly is sorry to have confirmation that her father is dead, and her mother’s confession will send her into a spiral.

With Gary and Maria recently promising to take care of Kelly while Laura is no longer around, she reminds her partner that they need to do what’s best for her.

This may be why Laura admitted fault, after she heard Kelly say that she feels hopeful that she now has Maria and Gary in her life.

But how will Kelly react if he tells her the truth about Rick, and she learns that her mother is actually innocent?

The reveal for the rest of the week is rather vague and it doesn’t reveal what Gary decides to do, so viewers will have to stay tuned to find out.
