Coronation Street resident troublemaker Lydia Chambers could be joining forces with Imran Habeeb to take down fellow barrister Adam Barlow in a vengeful plot when the drama comes to his attention next week.
This comes as actor Charlie de Melo has reportedly left Coronation Street after five years when the ITV actor decided to seek opportunities off the cobblestones.
Lydia (Rebecca Ryan) may now draw Imran into her sinister plan while continuing to target Adam’s (Sam Robertson) and his wife Sarah’s (Tina O’Brien) marriage.
Lydia hatched an elaborate Fatal Attraction-style conspiracy to convince Sarah that she and Adam were having an illicit affair.
On Friday’s episode of the ITV soap opera, fans saw Sarah confront Lydia about the infidelity after weeks of apparent hints he could be her new mystery man – only for Lydia to lie and say the lawyer is her boyfriend.
The latest ITV spoilers reveal that after ruining his marriage, getting him in trouble with the police and vowing to ruin his life, Lydia has targeted his job.
This could then lead to Adam’s vengeful ex-girlfriend turning her attention to Imran (Charlie De Melo) when she realizes she needs an insider to help her complete her revenge plan.
The drama continues on the ITV soap next week after Adam begged his wife to take him back over Lydia’s lies about the affair.
In next week’s soap opera scenes, Adam turns to his colleague and friend Imran for help as he explains the intricate drama.
But then disaster strikes Adam again when a big client decides to move his business elsewhere after seeing recent comments that ruin him as a lawyer.
The scathing online reviews put Imran in a difficult position and when clients start doing business elsewhere, Imran is furious to learn it’s the result of his colleague’s recent relationship dramas.
The situation only worsens when Adam finds out he has been reported to the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
When he realizes he could be fired and lose his job on top of that, he decides to leave the company until things are sorted out.
This might not happen, however, as in the midst of his attempt to clear his name, the evil Lydia tells him she’s not done with him yet.
As the lawyer loses allies on the cobblestones, could he also lose his job to Lydia’s vendetta?
And since Imran was brought into the Lydia drama and left on the backfoot, could he now be included in the unfolding plan as the actor reportedly prepares to leave the soap opera?
