Coronation Street actress Rebecca Ryan has revealed her character Lydia Chambers could be returning to ITV soon after she left the show last night.

The actress left her role in scenes that aired on ITV yesterday, as Adam finally admitted and apologized for what he did to her when they were students at university. after she pushed him across the balcony during the torture scene.
Now Rebecca has teased Lydia could return to Cobbles one day as there is still so much more of the character’s story to explore and develop, as the actress praised her co-stars including Sam Robertson and Tina O’Brien for making her feel so welcome during the performance.
When asked if Lydia could one day come back, she said: “I think now that we have that redemption, people have seen her as more than just this crazy woman. just do it for no reason, it would be better to explore it a little more. And what kind of person she really is, I would love to do that! “
Rebecca admits her role was “difficult” at first, especially being from Manchester.
“I really had the best time. When you find out you have a job on Coronation Street, it’s frustrating. It’s an iconic show, it’s not just any show. What kind of performance is there, especially when you’re from Manchester,” she shared. Metro.
