Influencer Suzanne Jackson will star in a new series of Dancing With The Stars.
he, 38-year-old Dubliner, has told friends that without any last-minute complications, she will begin rehearsals for the show early next month.
It was recently revealed that drag queen Panti Bliss and Eurovision singer Brooke Scullion have committed to RTÉ’s new series.
Suzanne has been at the top of show producers’ wish lists for several years.
Three years ago, she confirmed that she had been approached to participate.
“For those asking – no, I was not asked to be on Dancing With The Stars. I was there a few years ago, but it never went ahead,” she said in 2019.
In 2017, Suzanne admitted that she was hooked on the show and would love to be on it.
“I love seeing the show, I’ve been dancing Irish for 17 years – that’s why we did Irish dancing at our wedding,” she said at the time.
“Now I feel like I’m communicating and updating enough for my followers – if there’s a suitable TV show like the jungle or Serious or Dancing with the Stars, I’d love to give it a try. .”
Suzanne married Dylan O’Connor in Skerries in August 2017 and the couple held a lavish reception at the Powerscourt Hotel, in Wicklow.
“That Riverdance song always caught everyone’s attention, it blew my mind, the dancers were amazing on our wedding day,” she recalls.

“But even if they asked me, I would still say no because (a) I’m 66, (b) I can’t do the king dance and (c) my knees are paralyzed.
“I want to be paid millions of dollars to make myself the eejit king,” he laughs. “I’m a big enough eejit as I am, but to make an even bigger eejit by participating in a dance show? Jaysus, no!”
Host Nicky Byrne has resigned to make time for the Westlife tour and he has been replaced by Doireann Garrihy, who will co-host with Jennifer Zamparelli.
