Crashed on Devil’s Dyke, Brighton, due to snow, police at scene

Several cars were involved in an accident caused by the treacherous weather conditions.

At least eight cars are believed to be involved in the accident near Devil’s Dyke, Brighton.

Vehicles can be seen scattered across the snow covered area. Saddlescombe Road is partially closed as a result of the accident.

Emergency services are on site, including specialized responders. Sussex Police and East Sussex Fire and Rescue Services have been asked for comment.

Conditions on the road are believed to have been exacerbated by snow after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for the evening.
