Credit card detection technology used in the search for actor Julian Sands

Infrared devices have also been used by the authorities before, but to no avail.

On Tuesday, the force said “many” previous ground and air searches had taken place in the lower areas, but found no evidence of the actor’s location, although a second climber who went missing in the same area was found alive.

A department spokesman told the PA news agency that although ground searches for the second climber had created the opportunity for secondary raids, Sands has yet to be identified.
