Cristiano Ronaldo remains absent from pre-season training – a month before Manchester United’s opening game against Albion.
But the Old Trafford outfit claims its star is not for sale.
Ronaldo will not travel with United to Bangkok on their pre-season tour today as he has been granted additional time off to attend to a family matter.
There is no timeframe as to when the striker will link up with United, who face Liverpool in Thailand on Tuesday before flying to Australia.
But the club insist he will be part of the squad this season.
This campaign begins when the Seagulls go to Old Trafford on August 7th.
It emerged over the weekend that the 37-year-old had asked to leave United if an acceptable offer arrived.

Ronaldo was conspicuous by his absence on Monday when new manager Erik ten Hag welcomed United’s international players to Carrington for the start of pre-season training.
The club accepted his explanation that he was unable to attend training due to family reasons, which they still do as the veteran striker’s absence continued.
