Cristiano Ronaldo announces the death of his newborn son

Cristiano Ronaldo family said thank you Liverpool fans for their sign of support towards the Manchester United Striker and his partner after the tragic death of their young son.

Anfield fans chanted “You’ll Never Walk Alone” in the seventh minute of Tuesday night’s league game between the two teams, joining fans of their bitter rivals in an impeccably respected minute of applause.

Cristiano’s sister Elma, who lives in Madeira, showed her emotions overnight by posting footage of the gesture on her social media and writing: “Thank you for that Liverpool. We will never forget what you did today.” She ended her message with a heart emoticon.

Sibling Katia, posting from her home in Brazil, captioned “way beyond soccer” to her own video set against the chorus of “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” The sisters and their mother, Dolores Aveiro, also showed that they put their trust in God to help them overcome the tragic loss that has afflicted the family.

Dolores wrote about her, citing a well-known verse from the Bible that has helped many people through difficult times Instagram in Portuguese: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge him all your way, and he will direct your paths.”

That Portugal international and his 28-year-old partner Georgina Rodriguez announced Monday night that one of their twins had died. They said in a heartbreaking statement: “It is with our deepest sadness that we must announce that our little boy has passed away.
