A missile was filmed soaring through the sky before hitting an airport in Ukraine as Russian air strikes into the country intensified.
Footage shot from a vantage point near the Ivano-Frankivsk airport shows the bullet’s trajectory through a gray sky before exploding into flames over a smoking building.
The building burst into flames before a large plume of black smoke enveloped the central Ukrainian city.
Cruise missiles, guided bombs and GRAD missiles destroyed targets in cities across Ukraine.
They have targeted airports, military bases, ammunition depots and command posts, but have also hit at least one civilian apartment complex.

Ukrainian officials said a Russian helicopter landing attempt was underway at Hostomel military airport on the outskirts of Kyiv at around 11:30 a.m. GMT.
Separate footage shows explosions hitting Svatove, a city in eastern Ukraine. Reports said the missile hit ‘nearly’ a warehouse containing Ukrainian military equipment.
In addition to the air strike, ground forces have arrived from Belarus, Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk.
The overnight attacks prompted Kyiv to declare a nationwide state of emergency and urge people to donate blood.
