Cruz Beckham has announced plans to launch a music career the day after her seventeenth birthday.

The son of pop royalty Victoria Beckham says he is working with the writer who helped promote Justin Bieber internationally famous.

Cruz was in the studio with Bieber’s ‘Poo Bear’ writer, who wrote his songs Yummy, What Do You Mean and Intentions.

The teenager released a Christmas single for charity in 2016 but it looks like he wants to do it for real this time.

Speaking of his brief stint in football, he told iD magazine: “I thought I would want to play football and I did that a little bit.

“At that point, I decided this is exactly what I wanted to do.”

“I even learned how to play the mandolin for a song I wrote.

“I don’t think you’ll stop learning, but I’m taking my time to see what happens.”

Cruz also talked about how he and Poo Bear were in the studio “a few times” and “done some songs together”.

But this is not the first time he has appeared in the limelight.

He performed with his mother on stage at the age of 3 when the Spice Girls impressed Madison Square Garden in New York in 2008.

In retrospect, he said, “I did head rotations and a lot of things, it’s great looking back now.”

He laughed: “I’m still a baby! My voice hasn’t really developed yet, so I can only sing so high! ”

The young man proved himself to be a super fan of Billie Eilish when he celebrated his birthday with a two-tiered cake with the Bad Guy’s face printed on it.
