Crypto on Wednesday: Market shows mixed behavior

The crypto market opened Wednesday on a mildly bearish note for Bitcoin (BTC) as it fell 0.13%, while Ether (ETH) outperformed BTC with a price gain of 2.19%.
According to CoinMarketCap data, the price of BTC and ETH was $22,860 and $1,617, respectively. The market dominance of the world’s largest cryptocurrency has fallen to 41.30% over the past 24 hours, while that of ETH has risen to 18.66%.
BTC has successfully held prices above the $22,000 price level while ETH has held above $1,600. The next support is between $21,000 and $22,000 for BTC and $1,500 for ETH.
Among the tokens that haven’t shown much volatility over the past 24 hours are Ripple (XRP), which fell 0.91% to $0.3677; Tron (TRX) down 0.72% to $0.06815; and FTX Token (FTT), which is down 0.84% to $28.98 as of 12:24 AM ET.
As of 12:25 PM ET, the best performers include Cronos (CRO), up 9.08% to 0.1541; Polygon (MATIC), up 3.62% to $0.8891; Avalance (AVAX) is up 2.87% to $23.16; Aave (AAVE), up 5.34% to $94.66; and THORChain (RUNE), which is up 5.74% to $2.60.
Poorly performing tokens as of 00:26 include Chiliz (CHZ), which fell 11.98% to $0.1348; yearn.finance (YFI) down 2.10% to $10,680; Theta Network (THETA), which fell 4.72% to $1.35; and Hedera (HBAR), which fell 4.87% to $0.07104.
