Cyprus will further relax its travel rules for Brits public holidays this month, including the abolition of the pre-travel ‘flight pass’ and the removal of Covid tests on arrival for unvaccinated travellers.
Current immigration regulations require all travelers to complete a Cyprus flight pass within 48 hours of arrival, regardless of vaccination status. From April 18th, however, this flight pass will no longer apply to all travelers.
Meanwhile, unvaccinated or partially vaccinated holidaymakers are no longer required to take a Covid test on arrival at the airport, although they will still be required to provide proof of a negative Covid test prior to travel.
This can either be a PCR test done within 72 hours of travel or a rapid antigen test within 24 hours, with the rules applying to people aged 12 and over. Fully vaccinated travelers do not need a Covid test as long as they can show proof of full Covid vaccination.
