Da Brat gave birth to a sweet baby boy with her wife, Jesseca Harris-Dupart.
the rapper announced She broke the news of the baby boy’s arrival in an Instagram post on Friday, which offered cute glimpses of the little one’s toes and fingers. The baby born on July 6 is named True Legend, People reported.
“I can’t BELIEVE he got out of me!” Da Brat, whose real name is Shawntae Harris-Dupart, told the publication. “Feels like a dream. He is PERFECT in every way.”
She continued, “We are very grateful for the blessing of our bundle of joy. This trip was more amazing than we could have ever imagined.”

The couple announced they are expecting a baby in a stunning photoshoot in February.
The rapper had opened up about her pregnancy and her journey to motherhood an interview with People, which was released this month. True Legend is Jesseca Harris-Dupart’s fourth child.
“It’s been quite a journey,” said Da Brat, 49, adding, “We’ve learned a lot about women over 40.”
The “What’Chu Like” singer also revealed that she experienced a miscarriage prior to her pregnancy with True Legend.
In May Da Brat and Jesseca Harris-Dupart shared a series of photos on Instagram capturing cute moments of their Minions-style baby shower.
“THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to EVERYONE who loves and supports us,” Da Brat wrote in the title of a post. “Everyone who came was full of love and good energy. The VIBES in this building were EXACTLY what we wanted our BABY to FEEL.”
Jesseca Harris-Dupart on Friday posted a video on Instagram, which showed Da Brat giving birth to her child, and wrote in the caption of the post, “We are so grateful for the blessing of our bundle of joy.”
