Seriously Come Dancing Favorite Dan Walker has hit back at the rumors of his departure from BBC Breakfast in a lengthy post and statement on social media.
The TV presenter refuted press reports of his departure from the BBC citing unnamed “sources” and “mole”, in a post he uploaded to Instagram.
Posting a snap of the sunset to symbolize the end of his BBC stint and the start of something new, Dan wrote: “Often the simple truth is sadder than all the ‘ mole’ is generated and the so-called ‘source’ claim.”
He added: “In a nutshell… someone with a really good job that he loves, got a really good job somewhere else, which presents a great new challenge and opportunity to create some interesting telemarketers.
“Bloke explained to his current owners that, although it was a difficult decision, he has decided to leave. They are currently doing their best to allow him to leave peacefully. important.”
Dan then ended his caption with: “Have a nice Monday. I’m out for toast.”
Fans of the favorite BBC Breakfast show were quick to comment below his post, with many sweet messages.
One person wrote: “It’s just that you’ve been a part of our day for so long… often making us laugh when things don’t go right. All the best wishes to you. You are a great role model and we admire you so much.. a big thank you.”
Another added: “Nice to give you Dan a nice guy and a real gentleman. Best wishes for your new business.”

While the fourth said: “Remember Dan, the things don’t matter, and the important things don’t bother! Think your walk is great and can’t wait to see you face to face and complete. new challenges.”

Last week it was announced that Dan would be leaving BBC Breakfast for rival channel Channel 5.

Dan has replaced Bill Turnbull’s trusty Breakfast presentation and will now step into the position of Sian Willams on Channel 5, who is leaving his own spot.
When announcing his move, he said leaving BBC Breakfast was a “big decision”, adding: “I don’t think opportunities like this come up often.”
Details of his new salary have not been disclosed.
Walker’s newcomer will see him present the recently launched flagship newsletter 5 News, as well as “introduce a new series of shows on the channel,” said Channel 5.
