Dancing On Ice contestants fight for first place one last time

Dancing On Ice finalists Brendan Cole, Kimberly Wyatt and Regan Gascoigne will face off one last time before one is crowned Sunday’s Ultimate Skating Champion.
The trio have been battling for the top of the leaderboard since the start of the ITV competition.
The celebrity contestants began their semifinals by showing off their ability to skate solo – a challenge won by Wyatt, who then scored the full 40 points in her second appearance.
Former Strictly Come Dancing star Cole scored 39 out of 40 in his second appearance, while singer-dancer Gascoigne scored the full 40.
In the quarter-final show, all three competitors scored the maximum 40 points.
Gascoigne’s skate, inspired by the circus and Torvill, and Dean’s “Barnum” performance from the 1983 World Championships had judge Torvill in tears.
Pro-dancer Cole earned the coveted first 10 of the series after his performance with the Jersey Boys with backup skating partner Brendyn Hatfield.
Hatfield stood in for Cole’s professional partner Vanessa Bauer, who has been forced to self-isolate after testing positive for Covid-19.

The following week he again got the highest score of the night after receiving 40 for his performance in which “Rain” rained down on him while he was dancing on the rink.
He received top marks for his routine Falling by Harry Styles, which featured an umbrella and also featured ambitious dance moves like a “death spiral” and a trio of rotating elevators.
Wyatt also scored her first 10 on the episode for her routine on Adele’s award-winning track Easy On Me alongside her professional partner Mark Hanretty.
Dean, who bestowed her the coveted sign, said he was at a loss for words as he found the dance “so beautiful” and thought it made her one-piece silk prop appear like “a part of her.”
In the show’s second week, she received the series’ highest score for the musical performance of The Greatest Showman, before beating her record a week later with her fiery tango.
The Dancing On Ice finale airs Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
