Despite prior warning that the Dancing On Ice 2022 finale has been postponed by ITV to cover football, viewers are still ‘angry’ to have to wait another week to watch it
Dancing On Ice viewers confessed their disappointment on Sunday night, after the live finale was dropped from the schedule and pushed back a week.
ITV’s decision was announced earlier this month, when the channel was confirmed to broadcast the FA Cup Football League live.
Likewise, Saturday night saw Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway also be cancelled, as did Starstruck, as shows were replaced with rugby coverage.
While there were more notable things about Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield’s series of interest, it didn’t stop fans from looking for picks on Sunday night.
While taking to Twitter as the live finale was about to air, they shared their annoyance at having to wait an extra week to see the final performances.

But instead, knowing that they were meant to follow the tough competition this weekend made some people quite angry.
Taking to Twitter, some urged ITV not to broadcast sports programming on another channel, while others confessed that they would be rather bored without the programming.
One fan wrote: “Definitely they could put their foot in one of the other 3 channels they have, instead of getting rid of the DOI. Not impressed.”
Another fan confessed: “Don’t know what my Sunday night would be without #DancingOnIce”.
A third viewer tweeted about the news: “It was meant to be #DancingOnIce Finale Tonight but No. I’m angry.”
Meanwhile, a fourth fan wrote: “Oh, what can we do? We’ll just have to wait,” as a fifth said: “I wish it was how much it was this week. “
The official Dancing On Ice Twitter shared a message to fans to remind them of the schedule change earlier in the evening.
They wrote: “Don’t forget we’re not available this weekend due to being too busy, but it gives our couples an extra week to practice like never before and work on their final routines.” their great together!
“Who’s going to get your vote when we get back on Sunday, March 27?! We. Can’t. Wait.”
Dancing On Ice 2022 ends with the live final at 7pm on Sunday, March 27 on ITV.
