Dancing On Ice fans praised Torvill and Dean’s opening performance tonight – many saying it was “mesmerizing”.

The ice skating champions left viewers in awe as they headed to the rink for a show on this week’s theme dedicated to them.

The remaining couples inherit unforgettable routines from Torvill and Dean’s illustrious careers, including the songs, choreography and costumes.

Kicking off today’s episode, the pros showed off their iconic moves on the ice and made it look easy.

And many said her performance was simply “mesmerizing.”

Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: “Amazing!!! Simply mesmerizing!!!!! #DancingOnIce”

Another wrote: “Yes yes! That was the opening of the #DancingOnIce show.”

Torvill and Dean’s dance wasn’t the only thing that blew everyone’s minds tonight.

Host Holly Willoughby wowed fans as she dazzled in a black and silver sequined corset and skirt set.

The 41-year-old presenter showed off her incredible figure in a plunging, strapless black corset while shimmering in a floor-length silver skirt.

While her chest was free of jewelry, her skirt was adorned with black jeweled flowers that reached to the hem.

Her makeup complemented her shimmery outfit with a metallic eyeshadow brush and a pair of pearl earrings. Her ice blonde hair was brushed away from her face in wavy strands, completing the look.

Fans gushed over her outfit on Instagram, writing, “Absolutely gorgeous, love the design of this dress!”

While another commented: “perfect as always love you.”

Her friends were equally impressed with her ensemble, with judge Oti Mabuse writing: “Yessss Ma’am.”

Emma Bunton simply wrote, “Wow!”

Last week Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor was the latest star to leave the competition after failing to impress the judges.

Sally took on Kye Whyte in the dreaded skate-off and after making her second appearance, she told hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly, “I think it’s time to go.”

All four judges opted to save Olympic BMX racer Kye and his professional partner Tippy Packard, but they were all careful to commend Sally for her efforts.
