Dancing on Ice: Holly Willoughby stuns in pink dress

Dancing On Ice fans were quick to point out a very awkward mistake between Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on Sunday night’s show.

Eagle-eyed viewers caught the moment when Phil was surprised to lead his co-host, to her displeasure after the handover was so quick.

During the week of support, Phil was seen chatting with a number of contestants about their performances before announcing to the cameras: “Through Holly!”

It seems Phil did his trick a little too quickly because Holly could no doubt be heard whispering “No!”

Realizing he had made a fatal mistake, Phil then tried to cover up with a preview of the show next Sunday.

Phil and Holly made headlines in the tweets of eagle-eyed viewers last night, after they spotted an ‘awkward moment’

After VT has rolled, Holly can be seen chatting with friends and family of the contestants in the stands – eliminating the awkward moment that happened earlier.

Despite the presenters covering up their attempt, viewers at home were quick to point it out, with many taking to Twitter to discuss the “awkward moment”.

One wrote: “Phil: Via Holly. Holly: No.” followed by a smiley emoji.

Another person later noted: “Also”…no! ” from Holly when Phil tried to pass her on at the wrong time.”

“@dancingonice thought Holly was very quick to be there when Phil came back to her and you hear Holly say ‘no’,” a third joked.

A fourth joked: “Phil will be furious when Holly says no to him. She will be fired.”

While another viewer enjoyed the chill atmosphere, writing: “It feels like tension between Holly and Phil on #DOI. Their previous chemistry seems lacking imo imo [in my opinion]. “

Holly and Phil’s awkward moment comes before Sally Dynevor becomes the latest celebrity to be kicked off the rink and sent back to the cobblestones.

Coronation Street actress Sally, 58, and her professional skating partner, Matt Evers, were bottom of the scoreboard when the jury accused her of “not skating enough”.

Matt, 45, offered to take the blame because he was the one responsible for choreographing the piece using chairs as props week – but that didn’t stop the judges from giving honest feedback and a total score of 25 ,5.

Figure skater Jayne Torvill told her: “It was a great performance Sally and you look so confident and happy out there.

“Because the chair has very little skating in the middle and I think with the chair you can get a little creative with what you’ve done with it.”

Sally then faced Kye Whyte on top of the Olympian in ice skating and told the hosts Phil and Holly: “I think it’s time to go.”

All four judges chose to save Olympic BMX rider Kye and his professional partner Tippy Packard, but all praised Sally for coming so far.

Speaking of her time on the show, Sally told Holly and Phil: “I’ve had the period of my life, I can’t tell you how much I’ve loved this show, it’s just so real. wonderful.”

Dancing on Ice airs at 6pm every Sunday on ITV and ITV Hub.
