Dancing on the ice Viewers were shocked and confused when they found out Vanessa Bauer at the show on Sunday night.

Brendan Cole hit the ice with teammate Brendyn Hatfield, after the original professional skater Vanessa is replaced after testing positive for Covid-19.

Audiences watching at home loved the old movie Seriously come to dance his new star and partner perform Frankie Valli’s Beggin’ and The Four Seasons from Jersey Boys, for Musical Week.

The panel enjoyed it too – with guest judge Arlene Phillips even giving her old BBC His colleague scores the first 10 of the series.

Brendan was confirmed to perform with Brendyn earlier this week, after it was announced that his usual partner Vanessa had been dropped with Covid-19.

“Unfortunately, Vanessa Bauer will not be able to skate this weekend after testing positive for Covid-19. We look forward to Vanessa’s return to competition soon.” ITV explained in a statement on Tuesday.

After learning about Vanessa’s Covid-19 condition, many viewers of Dancing On Ice were shocked to see her in the stands on Sunday night.

“Why is Vanessa in the studio if she has covid? I’m so confused. #DancingOnIce,” one fan continued. Twitter when the program is broadcast.

“So Vanessa was quarantined because she has COVID but she was in the crowd tonight without a mask.ok!! #DancingOnIce #itv @dancingonice,” another asked.

Other fans have updated Vanessa on her recovery – informing others that the star is now completely virus-free and can legally go out again in public spaces.

“Just in case anyone is wondering Vanessa tested negative the day before, I think she put it on her insta! For everyone asking why is she there #DancingOnIce,” one Fans took to Twitter to inform others on Sunday night.

Vanessa, who has topped the charts in recent weeks with Brendan, shared her disappointment at missing out on this weekend’s show earlier this week.

She said: “I am disappointed that I have tested positive for Covid and will not be able to perform with Brendan for Musical Week. But I am very happy that Brendan can skate and challenge himself with one person. You are amazingly professional in Brendyn .

“I have no doubt they’re going completely broke this Sunday. I’m looking forward to returning to the competition to showcase more creative habits!”

Both Brendyn and Brendan made Vanessa proud – leaving both the judges and the audience in awe at home.
