Dancing On Ice: Rachel Stevens Meets Partner Brendyn Hatfield

Brendyn Hatfield is a Dancing on the ice professional skaters will participate in the program second all-male joint weekend.

He was paired with former Seriously come to dance star Brendan Cole for Sunday Musical Week.

ITV confirmed that there would be a changeover after Brendan’s regular partner, Vanessa Bauer, tested positive for Covid, meaning she had to withdraw from the show this week.

So Brendyn, who collaborated with S Club star 7 Rachel Stevens until she was eliminated in the third week, entered.

Speaking of her new skating partner, Brendan said: “I was given the wonderful opportunity to create something great for Musical Week with Brendyn.

“He’s an exceptionally talented skater and I’m sure we’ll be able to create something really special for the show. I cannot thank him enough for stepping in.”

Who is Brendyn Hatfield?

Brendyn Hatfield is 36 years old and hails from Seattle in Washington.

Professional figure skater who made a name for himself in Disney on Ice shows, playing both Aladdin and Woody in Toy Story.

In addition to becoming a professional footballer, he also studied Media Management in the United States and served as Editor and Cinematographer.

His credits include the short film My Name Is Tommy.

Is Brendyn Hatfield married?

Brendyn is married to professional Dancing on Ice skater Jessica Hatfield.

It’s not known exactly when she met Brendyn, but they’ve starred in Disney on Ice productions together globally for years — she’s Jasmine for Brendyn’s Aladdin.

Jessica is a backup dancer on the ITV show, which means she’s willing to supplement any professional who might not be able to perform throughout the series.

She has competed in a series of series so far where she has been partnered with BBC host Radzi Chinyanganya, but they were eliminated in the third week.

In addition to her skating career, she is also a nurse.

How long has Brendyn Hatfield been on Dancing On Ice?

Brendyn joins Dancing on Ice in 2020 at the same time as his wife Jessica Hatfield.

So far he has collaborated with ITV news reporter Lucrezia Millarini, but the pair are the second to be eliminated.

Last year, he reached the semi-finals with British rapper Lady Lehurr, in fourth place.

For this year’s series, he teamed up with former S Club 7 star Rachel Stevens.

Speaking of getting another chance on this year’s show, Brendyn said he was “very honored” to be asked to skate with Brendan.

He added: “I look forward to creating an interesting routine for this Sunday show that I hope will impress both the judges and viewers.”
