Danielle Armstrong shows off her weight loss process

Danielle Armstrong has admitted that she “feels pressured” to get in shape after giving birth.

The former The Only Way Is Essex star compared herself to her co-star and co-star Ferne McCann, who returned to her pre-baby body after just two months.

While Danielle says it took her six months to a year to feel her body confident again after having Orla, it’s now two.

She told New magazine: “I would be lying if I said I’m not worried…. There’s pressure in our industry.

“My friend Ferne looked unreal while pregnant on Sunday and she was back in her pre-pregnancy body within a few months.

“But I had a good six months, maybe even a year. Your body goes through so many changes and you don’t have to put so much pressure on yourself.”

The 34-year-old revealed she gained more than four stones during her pregnancy – but now she feels back to the way she was.

The mother of one child said her impending wedding to Tommy Edney, Orla’s father, whom she has known since the age of 11, pushed her to lose weight.

She wrote on Instagram: “After having Orla, I never thought I would feel the way I am back when I wore more than 4 stones during my pregnancy.”

But she says booking a recent five-day hen party on the Greek island of Mykonos kicked off her fitness journey.

“When we placed my hen over a year ago, I knew I had a goal of feeling healthy and body confident by following a simple nutrition plan and doing 21 day challenges. “.

Danielle continued to share her before and after photos right after she had Orla and now.

Although she admits she “hates every part” of being pregnant, she said being a mother is “the best experience in the world”.

She even teased that she hopes to have a second baby “within the next year”.

Appearing on her best friend Ferne’s reality show First Time Mum last summer, Danielle was asked if she wanted more children.

At the time, she said, “I think I’ll wait another two years. But yeah, I definitely want more than that. ”

Another reason she and Tommy wanted to add to their mother flock was because they both have siblings.

Danielle said: “I have a sister, Tom has a sister. My mother is really an only child, but always wishes that when she lost her parents, she would have brothers and sisters, just to have support.”

Danielle – who identifies herself as ‘Mrs E to be’ – shared that she feels the healthiest now ever.

And she says people love that she has documented her weight loss journey online and does it in a healthy way.

She chooses to showcase her dramatic weight loss results on social media, posting comparison photos to illustrate the transformation her body has undergone.

Speaking of her recent pre-wedding celebration, she said it was “the best weekend of the hen”, adding that the group “laughed” together a lot during the trip.
