Danniella Westbrook posts fresh-faced selfie and says she’s ‘able to do life in a different way’

EX-EastEnders star Danniella Westbrook posed for a fresh-faced selfie as she informed followers she’s “able to do life in a different way”.

The 48-year-old has spent the previous couple of weeks reflecting on her life after the BBC changed her Albert Sq. character with a special actress.

Promising she’s embarking on a contemporary period, Danniella mentioned: “Okay so that is what just a few weeks of solitude and isolation engaged on your self at dwelling seems to be like.

“At present I awakened prepared and prepared to do life in a different way . Enormous due to @sipaulm for doing my hair. I’m London certain and life is nice ❤️#beyourself.”

She hit out at EastEnders earlier this month after The Solar on Sunday revealed final week that Kim Medcalf, 48, will play Sam Mitchell.

Danniella performed the fiery daughter of Queen Vic legend Peggy Mitchell in 1990 and final appeared within the function in 2016 – though Kim performed the character between 2002 and 2005.

However she was left blindsided when EastEnders changed her with out talking to her first.

She informed us: “I’ve been often known as Sam Mitchell for 32 years. However no person at EastEnders contacted me to let me know that they had recast Kim within the function.

“There wasn’t even an electronic mail to my agent. I used to be shocked as a result of they do have a duty to inform me and somebody ought to have.”

Danniella has struggled with drug habit since she was 14 and abused cocaine so badly it destroyed a part of her nostril.

She mentioned: “The bosses have seen me undergo habit and so they do not know the place I’m right now.
