Danny Dyer and the family of EASTENDERS have been offered £1m by Channel 4 to star in their own reality TV show.
The actor is leave the BBC later this year after playing with pub owner Mick Carter for nine years.
The Keeping up With The Kardashians-style show will focus on the family life of Danny, his wife Jo Mas and their children, Love Island winner Dani, 25, daughter Sunnie, 14, and son Arty, eight.
A TV source said: “Once Danny is a freelancer later this year, the sky is the limit.
“The TV production companies are condescending to film him and his family.
“Channel 4 brought him a lucrative offer that he was tempted to and he knew his family would make TV really live, fun because it was all so simple and everyone was there. home can be related to them.”
Jo, 45, previously said they had considered a family show.
She said: “We were offered a reality show, but Danny signed with the BBC.
“We always joke about it. People say we need an indoor show because there’s always a drama. We might do it one day. ”
Dani added: “There have been talks about it. It could happen next year. ”
Speaking for the first time about quitting soap on his Sorted With The Dyers podcast, Danny said: “I decided to start and try some other things.
“I am 44 years old now and I have had nine years playing Mick. I think he needs to rest.”
The plot is a killer
SOAP boss Chris Clenshaw plans to bring in new characters and old fan-favorites to boost EastEnders ratings.
Dramatic storylines like the downfall of killer Gray Atkins are also planned.
An insider said: “There are big changes happening. Chris is clear about his vision and he’s determined to put his stamp on the show.
“Linda Carter, on her way back – and with Janine trying to get her claws on Mick – two of Walford’s best went head to head.”
