The dates for the 2023 Sundance Film Festival have been announced.
he world-famous festival, taking place in Park City, Utah, will take place from January 19-29 next year, organizers have confirmed.
The event is to take place as a hybrid event with a combination of presence and online screenings.
The 2022 festival was supposed to take place this way, but has been moved entirely online due to the pandemic.

Organizers said the 2023 programme, which will include world premieres of feature films, short films and episodic works, will be larger than those presented digitally over the previous two years.
“We can’t wait to return to our home in Park City and present exciting new work from around the world live and in person,” said Festival Director Tabitha Jackson.
“We’re also under our belt for two years of digital exhibition and participation, returning to the excitement and immediacy of live events while maintaining a powerful online offering.”
This year’s festival saw the world premiere of Coda, starring Troy Kotsur (pictured), which won several awards including the Oscar for Best Picture (Ian West/PA).
Organizers say the hybrid element of the last two festivals has helped expand audience reach and make the events more accessible than previous years.

The film, which focuses on a family of deaf fishermen, won four top awards at Sundance, including the Grand Jury Prize.
