Dead Space developer stream will reveal more information later this week

It won’t be long until horror fans get their next look at EA’s Dead Space Remake, as the company announced a new developer live stream this weekend.
The YouTube live stream is set for 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. GMT this Friday, March 11. EA says the video is “the latest in the series.” series of their original looks at development and what goes into a remake of a game.”
Last August, EA showed off the first look at the Dead Space remake’s graphics and gameplay during its first developer showcase. Here, we learned about the new “makeover” system of combat, which allows players to shoot enemies flesh to reveal bones and intestines.
We also learned Gunner Wright will return to voice Isaac and there will be story refinements to better connect the original Dead Space with its sequels. We don’t have an official release date for the game yet, but reports say Dead Space could be aiming for a release this fall.
Dead Space is a 2008 action horror game originally developed by Visceral Games. With the studio now closed, EA Motive is handling the remake’s development. Dead Space remake was officially announced last summer for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S and PC. We know the developers are rebuilding the original Dead Space from the ground up in the Frostbite engine. The next-gen exclusive release features developers looking for enhanced SSD usage, 3D audio, and more.
