Deadly £100m ultra-futuristic fighter jets ‘that will make Putin sweat’ have landed in Britain.
As international military tensions soar, successive £300m supersonic F-35B Lightning aircraft land at RAF Marham in Norfolk.
The menacing planes, flown in from Texas, can carry a shocking 22,000 pounds of firepower, including eight Paveway laser-guided bombs, and come equipped with a terrifying “beast mode.”
The air-to-air infrared homing missiles can be used to shoot down Putin-style aggressors and are designed to outrun any other aerial bomb.
With a top speed of 1,200 miles per hour and an altitude of 50,000 feet, they put Britain’s state-of-the-art “Lightning Fleet” in 27th place.

A witness who watched the planes land told the story The sun that the war machines “will make Putin or any enemy sweat”.
They are the first to evade radar stealth technology at supersonic speeds with a 35-foot span and only require a 450-foot runway to take off.
They can also take off and land vertically and are crewed jointly by the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy operating from land and sea.
Three more stealth jets will arrive this year and seven more in 2023, with all 48 of the first batch expected to be delivered by the end of 2025.
They are destined for the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy and operate as three squadrons in two locations.
The 617 ‘Dambusters’ Squadron and the 207 Operational Conversion Unit Squadron at Royal Air Force Marham and the 17R Test and Evaluation Squadron at Edwards Air Force Base, California.
Britain eventually wants to own 80 F-35B jets. The first arrived in 2012. The RAF confirmed the delivery of our fleet’s superstructure last night.
It comes as the Russian president lied and said Russia is not bombing Ukrainian cities, despite US estimates suggesting Moscow fired at least 500 rockets.
Vladimir Putin has overseen the constant shelling of Ukraine, which has attacked both military and civilian structures and killed hundreds of people.
And it is feared 100 people were buried under rubble after a block of flats near the capital Kyiv was hit, while a cluster bomb attack in Chernihiv killed 49 people.
Meanwhile, special forces in the US and UK are preparing for a high-risk rescue mission to rescue the Ukrainian president.
Russian Spetsnaz special forces are said to be targeting Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and troops are trying to transfer the president from Kyiv.
And demonstrators braved a hail of bullets as they marched toward Russian troops in an occupied Ukrainian city.
Protesters pursued retreating Russian soldiers in Melitopol amid demonstrations in occupied cities across Ukraine.
Russia also pledged to “retaliate” against the UK over its so-called “sanctions hysteria” today.
And efforts to evacuate Mariupol were halted as Russian shelling continued from escape routes despite a ceasefire.
