“Can’t believe I’m actually a Dame!

“My family is so wonderful and emotional as all, we find so much to smile about in our sadness. I can get weaker and weaker every time I get tired of running out of pure adrenaline. , but my word, I always say I want to slide aside when time is up, with a big smile, no regrets and a big glass of champagne! Still my intention!!!”

Mother-of-two Deborah, who is in hospice care while battling stage four bowel cancer, has raised a staggering £5.3million for Cancer Research UK in just five days of posting the ‘breakup’ notice on Instagram.

The 40-year-old was aiming to raise £250,000, but has broken that total 20 times in such a short period of time.

Dame Deborah says Sun : “The duke is so charming and made us all feel at ease immediately. He’s so engaging and generous with his time, I could have talked to him all afternoon.

“It’s been an honor to meet him and he is always welcome to enjoy tea and champagne at any time. I am truly touched to have been awarded my honor. It is a memory that my family and I hold dear. will cherish forever.”

The Honors and Knights are traditionally announced on two occasions each year – the Queen’s Birthday Honors and the New Year’s Honors.

However, Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace and Downing Street made special allotments due to Deborah’s dire circumstances, allowing her to become Dame within a day.

Deborah went on to reveal details of her conversation with William, 39, which lasted half an hour.
