Dame Deborah James shared a heartbreaking photo as her dappled dad combed her hair on Instagram on Father’s Day, revealing she “didn’t have the energy” to do it herself.
Taking to her social media platform, Deborah, 40, looked frail as she sat in her chair while dad Alistair lovingly combed her hair, with her In The Style balloons visible in the background.
She wrote: “Happy Father’s Day! Yes, I’m combing your hair because I don’t have the strength to brush this anymore.”

She explained: “I don’t always have to be the adult to tell my dad how much I love him, so take that from me, just say it. You never know when it might be your last chance.”
“It’s too hard to think about the idea that I wouldn’t treat my son like a father,” she added Sun.
Deborah also criticized her incredible husband Seb – with whom she shares Hugo and 12-year-old son Eloise.
“For me, this year is about my dad and Seb, but also about the men in my life who hope to one day be my father, son and brother too,” She added.

Deborah recently revealed that she “continues to feel lucky that she had another day” and that she has outlived the life expectancy diagnoses she received from the hospital.
Deborah attempted to attend the races on Thursday, along with her brother and his fiancée.
Reflecting on enjoying her chance to seduce, Deborah admits she feels ‘uncomfortable’ thanking her dad for helping her through.
She took to Instagram to share that she’s launched a series of Rebel Hope t-shirts in an effort to raise even more money for the BowelBabe foundation.
Deborah posted: “Today I may have been beaten by Ascot yesterday, but Dad is there to keep me up.”
