Deborah James, 40, has said she has a to-do list for her death and wants to pass away amid the buzz of her family. The teacher who shot the podcaster shared the news earlier this week that nothing more could be done to save her after her battle with bowel cancer.
Deborah James planned her death and wanted to “run away” after being “held one last time” with her children.
The 40-year-old shared that she started her “to-do list” and said she wanted to die hearing “the usual family jokes and gossip”.
The school teacher turned podcaster told The Times: “It’s disgusting to tell my kids. My husband Sebastien is unbelievable, he dropped everything and was with me 24/7.
“My first thought was [that] I don’t want my kids to see me like this. I don’t think I can talk to them without crying, but I want to have one last cuddle with them.

Deborah says she wants 14-year-old Hugo, some cufflinks or a pretty pen, and Eloise, 12, some earrings and a bracelet.
“One thing my family knows is that I turn to stone when I’m alone. I don’t want to die alone,” she said.
She said she told her husband Sebastien, whom she married in 2008 to “move on”.
She says he’s “handsome” and that he should find someone who makes him laugh, the way they used to.
Deborah, who was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2016, says she writes letters to her children to open up at important times like their first date and wedding day.
These precious letters will probably be filled with motherly advice, so even though she won’t be there directly with them, she will be there through her words.
Deborah, who has lost the use of her arms and legs and needs to be carried around, has moved into her parents’ wooden house in Woking.
She said she wanted to spend her final hours sipping champagne on her parents’ lawn after she was let go by hospital nurses.

“I just want to hear their jokes and the normal buzz of life while I’m gone.”
Her story touched the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who paid tribute to her on their Twitter accounts.
“Every once in a while, someone captures the heart of the nation with a passion for life and a persistent desire to give back to society.
