Declan Donnelly collapses on live TV in unearthed footage

TV legend Declan Donnelly appears to have ‘collapsed’ on live TV, surrounded by popstars, to an ‘unknown illness’ in an unearthed clip from his time on SM : Live TV.

After interested viewers phoned the TV studio, Dec showed up shortly after, revealing the stunt was actually an April Fool’s joke, and winked at the camera.

The clip aired on Ant and Dec’s 30 Greatest Moments tonight show, on Channel 5.

Host Geordie, now 45, danced with co-hosts Ant McPartlin and Cat Deeley, and the group was supported by members of pop groups Westlife and B*Witched.

Dec suddenly appeared unwell and unconfident on his feet, before bringing his hand to his mouth and falling to the floor.

In dramatic scenes, a cast member rushes toward the star, while Ant resumes the show momentarily, before pausing.

“What is he doing?” Cat asked, Ant said, “Is he okay?”

Cat then shouts, “Someone can find a nurse,” before the children’s TV airs.

Then a message appeared on the screen that said, “Sorry for the error. We’re working to get your program back as soon as possible.”

Shocked viewers flooded the show’s phone lines with calls to voice their concerns.

A few seconds later, however, the show returns and Dec comes out fine, with a new segment starting.

He told fans: “Something happened here in the studio. I just… I just limped. I fell down. I didn’t feel well.

“Thanks for all your concern calls. No need to worry.

“I just wanted to say happy April Fools’ Day.”

Then Dec smiled and winked as the camera zoomed in on his face.

Years later and Ant & Dec fans are once again disappointed that the pair’s Saturday Night Takeaway performance was canceled this evening, to make room for the TV show Six Nations Live, when France vs. with him.

Like Starstruck and Sunday’s Dancing On Ice finale, ITV dropped the latest episodes from its schedule to make room for rugby coverage.

While some viewers completely forgot about the change to the list and were “gutted” to adjust something that was clearly not Ant and Dec, others were well aware but decided to take the trouble out anyway. their bear.

On Twitter, one fan commented: “Today is Saturday. It’s 7 o’clock – and we’re bored in the living room because #SaturdayNightTakeaway isn’t happening tonight.”

Another tweeted: “Awwwwww, I’m heartbroken, miss you @antanddec and love yahs. Had a great time with the audience last week – troublemaker in the xxx corner.”

The third added: “Saturday night is this week. We need both of you!!” as another said: “Missed #SaturdayNightTakeaway and it’s been three minutes since it started.”
