DeepOcean deploys second Vaarst SubSLAM System to enhance service delivery of 3D data to customers

Today, marine robotics specialist Vaarst announced that ocean service provider DeepOcean has become a regular customer for their SubSLAM X2 technology.

The SubSLAM X2 system – recently verified as the most accurate real-time underwater measuring system in the world – enables highly accurate 3D measurements and reconstructions, allowing even the smallest defects to be detected on materials. products at sea and maintain good accuracy when measuring at longer ranges. It does all of this while providing real-time 3D visualization to any device in the world.

DeepOcean initially switched to Vaarst in June 2021 to provide an alternative to traditional video camera technologies. The ocean service business soon found that the SubSLAM X2 system had saved them considerable time and money, without sacrificing the high standards of work their customers had come to expect.

Realizing the potential of SubSLAM technology, DeepOcean has now purchased a second system.
