Good morning Man Utd fans
According to reports, Man Utd defender Phil Jones is being lined up by Bordeaux to replace the exiled Laurent Koscienly.
The 36-year-old veteran, who spent nine years at Arsenal before joining Bordeaux in 2019, found himself chilled at the French side.
And now the Ligue 1 outfit have identified Koscienly’s old rival and United’s fiercest rival Jones as his replacement, according to L’Equipe.
Meanwhile, Man Utd, Chelsea and Newcastle are scrambling for the transfer of superstar Ousmane Dembele.
Sky Sports reports that the Frenchman is ‘most likely’ to join a Premier League club if the move is completed this weekend.
Spanish newspaper Marca have also confirmed that Dembele and his agent are currently looking for his next club.
They said it was ‘clear’ to the winger and his agents that a move was in his best interest.
A loan would be a possibility if a permanent agreement could not be concluded.
Finally, Man Utd is said to have entered the race for French star Aurelien Tchouameni from Monaco.
The Red Devils are set to enter the battle with Premier League rivals Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City for the 22-year-old.
And leaders LaLiga, Real Madrid are also involved after sending their chief scouts to watch the midfielder play.
Reports in France suggest Monaco didn’t even bother naming the asking price for the wonderkid being asked.
They are confident that any bidding war between Europe’s top clubs will push the fee north of £33m.
