Rep. Steven Horsford (D-Nev.) seems to have had enough of certain people – including Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Florida).
Horsford passionately defended diversity, equality and inclusion initiatives when Republican lawmakers pushed through a bill banning such programs in the military.
“This amendment does nothing to address the recruitment deficits our services face, but rather will only make it more difficult to recruit Americans from diverse backgrounds who represent the true make-up of our nation,” he said.
Horsford then spoke to his fellow GOPs.
“What are you so afraid of? Why do you keep bringing these controversial issues to this plenum?” he asked before turning directly to Gaetz: “You’re out of order! You are exhausting, Herr Gaetz!”
Gaetz called the comments “childish” and accused Horsford of “violating the decency of the House of Representatives”. according to Mediaite.
