Speaking on The One Show about the couple’s split, she said: “It’s been tough, but I’m in a really good place at the moment.
“I cried a lot at home and I got over it. I just put in the book all the facts that happened that led to the breakup of the relationship. But everything is fine.”
Following the couple’s split, Denise made the difficult decision to rewrite the epilogue of her biography, pulling it out of the way of the sale before it was released, as she wanted to be completely neutral. real with his fans.
“I think that’s the hardest thing for me [to rewrite the end]. The book is very upbeat and I’ve had some incredible work experience, and I refer to a lot of the ’90s – all the hedonistic days, it’s all there,” she explains. .

While Denise accepts there are “ups and downs” in her job, she feels she needs to work through the split because people have seen her and Eddie together on Celebrity Gogglebox and have invested in it. their affection.
