Denise Van Outen landed her first film role after the shock breakup with fiance Eddie Boxshall.
The 47-year-old actress and TV star first started dating the merchandise trader from Essex in 2014, but she announced they had broken up in a surprise social media post in January. this year.
Denise is said to have discovered Eddie had been texting other women during their seven-year relationship, and told him to pack up when she kicked him out of their home in Chelmsford.

Denise will play a nurse in the comedy Sumotherhood, directed by Adam Deacon, who also led Anuvahood in 2011.

According to The Sun, Denise is looking forward to playing the role of a sexy nurse after a few difficult weeks.

Sumotherhood marks the return of writer-actor-director Adam to filmmaking, as it’s been more than 10 years since he made his directorial debut with Anuvahood.
He won the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2012, but took a step back from the limelight in 2015 after being diagnosed with bipolar.
He has now returned to the all-star film and said the film will focus on “the diversity of life in East London in 2022.
“We’re thrilled that this incredible cast is joining the project to bring these quirky and crazy characters to life,” he told The Hollywood Reporter earlier this year.
Adam explains: “Both are darkly realistic, as well as capturing the vibrant and varied lifestyle of life on an East London council estate.
Production on the film is underway in London and is expected to wrap up in March.
