DENISE Van Outen appears to have turned off any prospect of reuniting with ex Eddie Boxshall after unfollowing him on Instagram.

Denise, 47, left Eddie after found out he had sex on the phone and date other women.

The couple have been dating for seven years and plan to get married in 2022 before splitting.

Now, the actress and presenter has reinforced her decision by unfollowing her ex on social networks.

Eddie, 47, had moved out of Denise’s home and was with a friend at a nearby pub when he believed he could convince her to forgive him.

A friend said: ‘Eddie believes he can get Denise back and isn’t willing to throw away all of their memories together. He is looking for ways to save their relationship.

“He feels terrible and in pain because she is injured. He is desperate to get her forgiveness and knows that there is a lot of deep affection involved. He is not ready to accept the past.

“He thought they were the perfect match and knew he was foolish. Eddie is keeping his distance for now and wants to give her the space and respect she needs. But he is staying nearby in the hope he may be allowed to return. He was in a room above a mate’s pub. “

But sources close to Denise said she was “decided” and “determined to move on and is highly unlikely” to bring him back.

With sources close to Denise confirming that they will no longer appear on Celebrity Gogglebox together, the mother of one broke her silence on the matter with a heartfelt post.

She posted a heartbreaking message along with a black and white photo of herself walking their two dogs on the beach.

Denise wrote: “Over the past few months there has been a lot of speculation regarding my relationship with Eddie.

“I am saddened to confirm that we are no longer a couple. I have had to make the difficult decision not to continue our relationship.

“I will always cherish the good times we spent together and the memories we made.”

She concluded: “We ask that you respect our privacy at this time, especially towards our children ❤️.”

Denise is the mother of daughter Betsy, 11, since her marriage to Lee Mead, while Eddie has two grown children from a previous relationship.
