Denise Van Outen’s ex-lover Eddie Boxshall has lashed out at her after she spoke out about their breakup.

Provoking the blonde beauty, Eddie took to Instagram after Denise herself broke her silence.

Denise appeared on BBC Radio 2 this morning, where she first opened up about her split from Eddie.

Speaking on the show, she said: “One thing I’m really proud of about myself is that I know when to walk away and I don’t want to be taken advantage of.

“Sometimes it takes a toll on my career or in my own relationships, but I feel that having value and self-esteem is really important as a woman.

“I always try to maintain that in whatever I do in life. All in all, I’m a mother now because I feel like a role model and I have to set an example.”

Denise also took to Instagram to announce to fans that she was on the air with Zoe Ball.

Fans who watched the interview were quick to comment below, with one writing: “Getting out of a relationship that wasn’t quite right is the most liberating feeling ever. Good friends more in yourself than in something wrong It pulls you down to eat you!

“A lot of people are in the wrong relationships because they can’t be on their own… waste a life!!! Well done, I got a lot of inspiration from you today.”

Shortly after Denise appeared on BBC Radio 2, Eddie shared a quote on Instagram: “Love is more important than money!”

One person commented below: “That’s what I always say very true, no money is nothing if you don’t have love.”

Another added: “Indeed…. most of the world we live in is regrettably focused on greed, power, money and selfishness.”
