Denise Welch celebrated “bumps, goosebumps and saggy breasts” as she posed in a black and white swimsuit after losing weight with two kicks.
Loose Women’s panelist, 64, said she was highlighting her curves and rough skin as she flaunted her figure in a split-cut swimsuit for a split second after a holiday in Greece.
Denise showed off her tan and paired her chic one-piece top with white sandals and boosted her glamor with bright red nails and lipstick as she tipped her head back in the sunlight. sunshine.
Captioning the photo, Denise told her followers: “Celebrating 9 years this week as an ambassador for @lighterlife.
“I’ve learned the mental tools to tackle emotional eating that threatens to replace my alcoholism.”

Denise continued: “I stick to a flexible and normal eating plan for the rest of the time. I enjoy all of my favorite foods but I no longer let food and my wandering thoughts control me. I am a healthy size 12/14 and that is fine for me. .
“I celebrate my curves, lumps, bumps, sagging breasts and rough skin because my 64-year-old aging body has done me well although the opposite has not always been true. correct.
“My swimsuit belongs to @fandfclothing. ”
Denise has been a vocal advocate of mental health awareness and last month she celebrated a decade of sobriety.
She posted a few side-by-side photos, showing her 10 years ago, when she was still drinking, and now after many teen years.
Captioning the April post, Denise wrote: “There are a few more lines and wrinkles but that’s in the eyes. They have it.
“10 years ago today I drank my last glass of wine. Since then it hasn’t been a glass of sherry and it was the best decision I have ever made.
“It changed my life and the lives of all the people I love and those who love me.”
Denise continued: “I’ve been self-medicating for years, and the memory of those times haunts me. Guilt and shame are very different. Guilt is something most of us have. Especially mothers.
“Shame is a different animal. It took me years to get over it and I still have nightmares that take me days to recover from. The thought of going back there terrifies me.”
Denise admits she’s “proud” of the way she’s turned her situation around and positively impacted her family.

She continued: “The effect of sobriety on my family is what I’m most proud of. My children are free to live wonderful lives because they don’t have to worry about their mother.
“My husband and I have a great marriage because we take the time to nurture and care for it.
“My father died knowing that I was in a good place with a good man. My sister looked at me with a respect that was gone for a long time.”
The former soap star concluded with a message for those who are going through something similar to what she went through.
Denise added: ‘If alcohol makes you more miserable, sad, anxious, embarrassed than a little giddy on a Saturday night, you’ve had too much to drink.
“Stopping isn’t easy and staying sober is a way of life but it’s a much better life.
“So I’m in my 60s happier and healthier today than I was in my 40s and 50s.
“Today, I think about all the people who are standing on the threshold of a big change and I can tell you it will be the best thing you have ever done.
“And to my friends who love drinks and no problem… .. raise a toast with me today on my anniversary!!!”
