Power is getting some changes for Witch Queen, and this will help both old and new players to get ready for a new campaign or a brand new start. The power tier is getting an update to 1350 so any player starting the campaign will be at the right level for the new content. The floor is the bare minimum, so there will still be lots of opportunities to gain more power and increase power. Players will be able to reach the soft limit of Power by earning gear through play-only, and once that limit is reached, they will be able to earn rewards from vendor challenges and complete the goal to continue to upgrade.
In Witch Queen, the blue bonus stops dropping from playlist activities like Strikes or Gambit once the player reaches that 1500 Power soft limit. You’ll then have a slight chance of getting a Legend bonus from those activities or a Legend Fragment. While you are playing Fate 2, Weapons and armor will continue to drop from enemies and chests but reducing the amount of blue bonuses will help with inventory management as you won’t have a lot of clutter to deal with.
“While we still have some time before the world’s first race begins, we wanted to plant a rally flag in the sand for when you can join the challenge.”
This raid will open on March 5 at 10 a.m. PT.
