We already knew Blizzard was working on a new entry in the Diablo Series designed for it mobile devices. And today, coinciding with Activision Blizzard’s first-quarter 2022 earnings report, the company made the announcement Diablo immortal will be released on June 2nd on Android and iOS – and surprisingly also on PC in open beta.
According to the developers Diablo immortal will have cross-play and cross-progression with controller and keyboard support on PC.
Set after that Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, Diablo immortal is a free MMORPG. The game will be online-only and will introduce new characters, storylines, and additional content as part of a “living, breathing, and ever-evolving experience,” according to the development team.

Blizzard has been a barrage of information about new games lately and a long list of highly anticipated but perpetually delayed titles. It’s working on one World of Warcraft mobile experience (although the earnings update says it will release more details on this in the coming weeks) and a brand new survival game. Elsewhere in the Blizzard ecosystem surveillance 2 will go into closed beta starting April 26th, with internal testing DiabloIV On the way.
