Disgaea 7 takes players to a feudal Japanese underworld this fall

Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtuless is coming this fall, and this time it brings a dose of classic Japanese history to the absurdity of the series.

This latest installment in the madcap strategy series unfolds in the feudal, demonic realm of Japanese-style Hinomoto. Comprised of multiple underworlds, the denizens of the underworld followed the Bushido code of honor until a tyrannical regime seized power to promote a code of destruction. Two unlikely allies must join forces to stop this menace: a lazy samurai named Futo and a hyperactive otaku girl named Pirilika.

Disgaea 7 features over 40 character classes, including four new ones: Maiko, Bandit, Zombie Maiden, and Big Eye. It also retains the 3D sprites introduced in Disgaea 6. New mechanics include Jumbofication, which transforms characters into oversized versions of themselves for massive attack damage. With Item Reincarnation you can transform equipment and items into new forms, e.g. B. Transform a weapon into a healing item. Auto-battles have been improved with more extensive character customization. Now your forces have a better chance against other players’ troops in the new online ranked battles.

Unlike Disgaea 6, which is exclusive to Switch at launch, Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtuless will be available on multiple platforms on day one. You can download the game on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch and PC.
