Disney+ announces plans for Vogue and Formula 1 documentary

Disney+ has announced plans for a series of documentaries including one about 1990s fashion with insight from Vogue editors and another following the rise of the Brawn F1 team.

Five projects were announced at the Edinburgh Television Festival and commissioned by Sean Doyle, streaming service’s director of content without description.

Hollywood star Keanu Reeves will voice the four-part series about Brawn, titled Formula One Team One Pound.

Produced by the independent All3Media North One, it will follow the team’s rise from indie and underdog apparel to 2009 world championship winner and feature British driver Jenson. Button and founder Ross Brawn, who led the team to victory.

Reeves, who is doing interviews and narrating the series, said: “I am honored to be a part of telling the incredible story of Brawn GP and their remarkable F1 Championship Season. in 2009 with people who have lived in this four-part documentary series.
