Disney announces release date for season three of Mandalorian

Disney has announced the premiere date for the third season of its hit show The Mandalorian.

This series, starring Pedro Pascal, will return to screens on March 1, 2023, the streaming giant said.

An earlier trailer for the series showed the eponymous character (Pascal) and Grogu, aka Baby Yoda, reunited and traveling to Mandalore to be “forgiveed for my transgressions”.

“The Mandalorian and Grogu are only back on March 1st on @DisneyPlus,” The Mandalorian Twitter account posted, sharing a photo of the duo.

The final episode of season two came out in December 2020, although The Mandalorian appeared in episodes of the Star Wars spinoff The Book Of Boba Fett, earlier this year.

Season three is understood to begin shortly after Book of Boba Fett.

The show, directed by Jon Favreau, also stars Katee Sackhoff, Giancarlo Esposito, Carl Weathers, Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi and Amy Sedaris.
