Cavan moved closer to promotion to Division 3 with a 2:11:1:15 win over London at Ruislip.

Aoimhín O’Reilly and Cormac O’Reilly led Cavan by four points before Patrick Lynch scored a well-crafted goal as the visitors sped away.

James Hynes finally got London on the board before Henry Walsh scored an absolute beauty. Cavan hit back and led by six points at half-time in London

In the second half, the hosts were a completely different team. However, their slow start in the game cost them.

Londoners Hynes and Chris Farley made it a five-point game as their support turned up the noise in hopes of a comeback.
