LOVE dad Donal Lunny said an emotional farewell to his son Shane today, ahead of his life’s anniversary on Sunday.
Family and close friends also gathered outside the funeral home in Bray, Co Wicklow to pay their respects after the boy turned 17. died last week.

The Nothing Compares 2 U singer also told her former teammate Donal how much Shane loved him and what a loving parent he was.
A message across from the funeral home read: “We all love you Shane Lunny.”
Friends and family comforted each other, some dressed in Hindi garb recognizing Shane’s religion, as tears fell.
A memorial service to celebrate Shane’s life, for his family and close friends, will be held at The Martello, Bray on Sunday from 2pm to 5pm.
A Covid Certificate and face covering are required. The family also requested that “colorful clothing be preferred” for those in attendance.
They also asked to only send flowers to the family and contribute to Pieta House.
