Piers Morgan holds ‘explosive’ interview with Donald Trump

Former US President Donald Trump made headlines in an exclusive worldwide interview with Piers Morgan for the presenter’s new TV show.

Trump called Morgan dishonest and a “fool” before refusing to participate, demanding the interview be ended and shouting “off the camera”.

Dubbed the most “explosive” interview of the year, footage of things escalating during the interview will be shown during the premiere of the show. Piers Uncensored on TalkTV on Mondays at 8pm.

Old friends Trump and Morgan clash in conversation, when the former president is toasting about the US presidential election.

It all started in the trailer when Trump sat down for Morgan’s first interview on the new show, with his first TV interview since Trump left office.

He told the former Good Morning Britain host: “Okay, I’m ready”, as the voiceover called him “the former president in denial”.

As the duo continued to talk to each other, it ended with Trump getting up and stepping out of his seat, while still not confirming how long the conversation had been going on before the incident.

Trump told Piers, “You’re not real. You’re fake,” to which Piers replied, “No, I’m just brutally honest.”

There is also a section where Trump is said to have told Piers about his remarks about him.

Trump told Piers, “I’m a very honest man, much more honest with you” in the interview dubbed ‘Morgan vs. Trump’ by the show.

At the end of their conversation, he told Morgan, “Let’s end the interview. Turn off the camera. Very dishonest.”

Speaking about the interview, Morgan shared about the moment Trump “foamed at the mouth” and shouted: “What the hell is this?” at him.

Sharing it all with The Sun, Morgan still wonders if the interview will be canceled before it even begins, after previous comments he made publicly about his old friend were revisited.
