Don’t use your raid passes in Pokemon Go – the developer screwed it up

IF you’re playing Pokémon GO, it’s a bad idea to use your Raid Passes now.

At the launch of Pokemon GO’s Season of Light, all four forms of the legendary Pokémon Deoxys appear in the fifth tier raids: the Normal, Attack, Defense, and Speed forms are all available to be battled and caught.

All four variants should also be available as Shiny versions after defeating them.

At least that’s what developer Niantic said.

Only Normal Deoxys is currently Shiny

However, reports from trainers around the world on Discord and elsewhere indicate that only Normal form Deoxys are actually found as Shiny versions at this time.

So if you still need the Shiny variant of the Attack, Defense or Speed forms for your collection, save your raid passes for now – Niantic must have forgotten to activate the Shiny version for these three forms.

Such occurrences have happened quite frequently in the past and have angered and frustrated fans.

That’s because features like the availability of certain Pokémon forms or Pokémon spawn probabilities are controlled centrally.

To put it plainly, someone at Niantic’s San Francisco headquarters simply forgot to press the big red “shiny button” for three of Deoxys’ forms before leaving work.

The city is offering a salary of £440,000 for the job - three times the market rate - but still no takers
I did a Shein clothes transport and it was a total failure

Now that the issue is known, Niantic should be able to fix it fairly quickly.

Until then, shiny hunters should be patient. Grab some free Pokemon GO promo codes while you wait.
