Doreann Garrihy ‘confirms’ dating comedian
Doireann Garrihy appears to have taken to Instagram ‘official’ with comedian Mark Mehigan.
The RTÉ star (30) shared a sweet photo of the couple in front of a Christmas tree at a five-star hotel, seemingly confirming rumors about their relationship.
The spark came just weeks after Doireann told Sunday World her only romance was with Dancing with the Stars – her upcoming presentation gig will kick off this Sunday .
“This whole year, I just focused on my friends and enjoying myself, so I have achieved a better balance between working hard but also enjoying myself,” she said.
Last week, a cryptic message on the star’s Instagram seemed to say it all: “Romantic love is not in my plans for 2023 but as all the best lyricists and poets will say With you, you can’t plan for that and that’s all I’m going to say.”
Fans first linked the comedian couple in December after Mark posted a photo of Doireann during a cozy hotel stay.
Although Doireann shared a series of Christmas snaps of her, followers were focused on only one thing: the potential couple surrounded by lavish carnival decorations.

Humorous man Mark posted a solo photo in front of the same Christmas tree on his own Instagram, with James Kavanagh once again joining the comments to stir and fan the flames of the rumored love.
“Who took this picture?” he asks.
Mark joked: “I’m like a Doireann in headlights.”
The Irish stars were linked after Doireann split from her boyfriend of three years last March.
“Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t, there’s no point in thinking about it,” the 2fm presenter told Evoke last summer.
She made a list for her potential love, saying, “I’m very busy and I like to be busy, so someone is busy and likes to be busy but when you have some free time you can maximize.
“I mean a person who is wise in character, someone who is always pleasant and kind.”
The star will co-host the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars with RTÉ presenter Jennifer Zamparelli.
