UK vs World Drag Race Contestant Janey Jacke opened on a Facebook Live tells all about her true feelings after she was eliminated at the hands of her Jujubee co-star and the difficulties of preparing for such a big show during a pandemic.
Janey, from the Netherlands, has done just that. reached the semi-finals of Drag Race UK Versus The World by excelling in each challenge and showcasing outstanding fashion sense on the main stage.
She explained that despite being eliminated from the show, she is still very proud of herself.
When asked how she feels after being eliminated, Janey said: “I’m very proud of myself and very grateful. I had a great time and think my Miss Universe exit I’m worthy. I can’t say anything else.”
Drag Race UK Versus The World is the first of its kind in the franchise – so the competing queens have no idea what they’re signing up for and who they’ll be competing against.
When Janey was asked how she felt about being asked to represent her country again, she explained that it felt bizarre at times.

She added: “They called me and I was so excited to be on All Stars because I was practically begging everyone to let me join, so it felt a bit bizarre knowing I was going to represent the whole land. his country.
“But at the same time, I’ve been working in my country for so long so I know I make them very proud and they’ll support me, so I’m ready to get started.”
When asked about who she expected to meet there, Janey replied and said: “I’m not sure, I hope there isn’t another Dutch girl because I want to be the only one carrying the thing. this now.
“I know for sure it’s going to be Drag Race UK season 1, because not all seasons get to air and we’ve never seen Australia and Spain nor these other seasons.”
“I guess there are queens, like I think Divina will be there, I hope Blu will be there, definitely Cheryl.
“I’ve actually really blocked myself from all the vandals because I want to be surprised at the moment and not be so stressed out and worried about who’s going to be there.”
Janey admits the challenge of preparing for the show’s stressful environment amid the pandemic was a significant amount of pressure as she struggled to prepare for the film.
She said: “The No. 1 tension is at a complete stalemate, again. Preparing for a season like this is really tough and it’s really caused a lot of stress and extra pressure. for what you’re trying to do.”
